Why dreams evade us

Sometimes before falling asleep, you wait to enter the beautiful world of dreams only to find in the morning that you could not dream at all. And this happens for many days at stretch.

I don't know about other people, but every night before sleeping, I think of some beautiful things that I want to have in my dreams...Being an avid dream lover helps, as it boosts your imagination power. I weave stories (I love to write short stories) , I weave dreams and I weave my life...

But I just hate those mornings when I wake up realising that I haven't dreamt at all or may be forgotten all my dreams. This reminds me that I should not cease imagining...otherwise I will cease to write my thoughts and construct those interesting dreams...

I dread waking up one day only to find myself transformed into a huge insect (Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka) When you stop loving your life...you certainly stop living your life. And my love of life is my profound imagination power..

For waking up to a beautiful morning, I have to steal some beautiful moments from my otherwise mundane life..so that I continue to dream...dream and dream some more..

Power of Imagination

Imagination seems like a 'stupid' word in this action driven society...But is it as useless as people think? Certainly not...People who have seen Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par would agree that imagination is another form of intelligence which is the mother of several forms of creativity.
Try detaching yourself from the mundane things that are happening around you...and let your mind wander freely. You'll soon realise that your logical mind is taking a backseat and a new creative awakening is searching for your new 'self.' Discoveing your new self will make you realise that you are made for different things and not just one thing. Your psychology of routine will tranform into a psychology of exploration..
If you look at the lives of successful people, you'll observe a similar pattern in the way they lead their lives...Aamir Khan had the power to imagine himself as an established name in the film industry...JK Rowling, a housewife, shaped her imagination into writing a book...There are numerous other examples..
If you are already successful and have achieved all what you wanted from life..then there is a strong possibility that you end up feeling restless...Ever thought why? Simple...you have simply stopped imagining....It's for your own contentment and self growth...
Dreaming is another form of imagination...When I talk about weaving dreams here...I should not only be content with my creativity with dreams....I should use my creativity with dreams productively....
Today...I've realised this...and hope more realisations will come my way...We should dare to be different from what life expects from us...we should do what we expect from ourselves...in order to be happy.....:-)

All the best!!!!!!!!!
